| Instructor Bio: |
Richard has had extensive experience in leading projects of
all sizes and has shared his knowledge and experience by
presenting project management courses to hundreds of
professionals. He is a long time member of PMI. Due to a recent cross country relocation, Richard is now a proud member of the WCC-PMI chapter and currently serves as the VP, Programs. He is a PMI ISSIG (Information Systems Special Interest Group) Associate Director and the Editor of the ISSIG Review. He is also chairman of the IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) Certification Development committee and was a member of the initial group that wrote the BABOK. He is a founding member of the IIBA Boston and Rhode Island chapters and was part of a small IIBA team selected to create the initial certification exam. For many years, he specialized in providing project management training in nationwide public seminars and consulting with clients such as Mitre Corporation, NationsBank, Boston Medical Center, First Marblehead Corporation, Aetna Insurance, Lotus, Microsoft, the Defense Department, Atlantic Mutual Insurance, Citibank and Fannie Mae. He has designed and taught numerous undergraduate and graduate IT courses at Providence College, Bryant College, Rhode Island College as well as Weidener University and Goldey Beacom College. He also designed and taught PMI based Technical Project management courses at Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI. He is a published author and has written many technical articles and texts used in courses he created and taught throughout the United States, Canada, and London. He developed and presented many IT and Business Analysis courses at the Boston University Corporate Education Center He was a featured speaker at the Boston and Washington, DC 2005 Project Management World Conferences. He earned a BA at Providence College and an MS degree (with honors) at The American University in Washington, DC. |
