The year is only half done and we’re already celebrating accomplishments. First, we’ve just completed a very successful Professional Development Day with eight great speakers and nearly 50 participants. I extend a huge “Thank you” to Tami Blake and her team for their hard work to create our first one day event. Second, the unveiling of our new chapter web-site. Sasun Torikian has worked for nearly a year developing the requirements, considering alternative solutions, and finally acting as web developer to create a web presence that is both better looking and also easier to maintain. Plus, he was able to achieve this at zero cost to the chapter. Thank you Sasun for your hard work.

We’re about to go on our summer break. When we return in September our first dinner meeting will be a special event to celebrate the Wine Country Chapter’s Tenth Anniversary. Juel Bortolussi and Paul Nuss have been preparing a very special evening for us. We’re trying to locate as many past board members as possible so that they may join us in the celebration. I hope that you’ll be there too. This will be a great occasion to bring any friends or family who wonder what PMI is all about.
